It appears that every time I do something with a VST instrument (add a new one in Score layout, change instruments on a staff that involves or already has a VST associated with it, etc.), N3 reloads *all* the VST instruments in the score.

This did not happen before and it is a *big* time-waster now watching the numerous VST windows flashing by.

Is this a new necessity to manage memory better or a glitch that needs to be fixed? If the former, can y'all find a more elegent and less show-stopping way of doing it? If the latter, could you move it to the top of the list for the next fix release?

I did a bugreport on this.

This, according to Lubo in another thread, is a known bug and will be fixed in the next update.
I have no idea when the next update will be out, but is should be not too given Notion`s short release times

Since last update, Just renaming the instrument implies a full reload of every instruments. Even seems that they are loaded more than once, and takes even longer.
Also get the message of VST Play not found, but it keep loading instruments.

Yeah!

Will the newly-busted Menu bar also be fixed? Right now, using a speed-key to access (e.g., alt-F for File) does *not* result in the menu opening automatically.

Hi,
what about a simple fix release without waiting the next update ? Or maybe a workaround ?
At the moment Notion is actually unusable with a score template with more than 15 staff; it takes to long to write with this continuos "vst reload".
Being on a schedule, this is almost a "show stop"......
