Is it possible to create accidentals with parenthesis? To show a musician that a certain note is now flattened from previous bar even though it wouldn't be necessary to write it.

I don't think this is possible with (parenthesis) around it.

This is very important and sucks to be missing. It is called cautionary accidentals and it is used extensively in contemporary music where it is often the case not to use key signatures and to jump around chromatically quite a bit. Feature request, can we have cautionary accidentals please?

Hey everybody,
NOTION3 does allow you to place cautionary accidentals. They don't have parenthesis, but you can still place them. In fact, in many publications , cautionary accidentals do not necessarily have parenthesis around them, its seems to be a matter of publishing style.
Simply place your accidental in front of the note even if it's redundant.
Hope that helps
