Any way to receive notice of minor upgrades?

For some reason I can not sign up to the newsletter (hotmail account?)
Is this the way of getting notification of minor upgrades? i.e. Are these sent out with the newsletter anyway or do I have to keep checking the forum?
I`m interested in this as there are a couple of missing features that prevent me from buying notion at the moment that I have requested on the forum, would like to keep an eye on whether they become implemented or not.
