I have just received Notion 3 and it is taking me some time to figure out just how it can be used in my work flow. One thing I wanted to do was to use some Quicktime instruments (OSX) for playback since I use the results as a comp for clients. Just how does one incorporate Quicktime instruments into a score?

What do you mean by QuickTime Instruments?
The regular DSL Music Device? Or Audio Units.
Notion does not support Audio Units, only VSTs, so make sure you have your plugins installed as Audio Units.

As far as I know you can load SoundFonts into the DLS Music device.
