I've just purchased VSL Dimension Strings and I'm looking forward to using them with Notion. Any tips or suggestions on where to begin?

I currently use VSL SE, so I think this will be a new world for me.

Let me know when you get your rules written and tested :)

Rules??? Written??? Tested???? I thought this would be easy! LOL

I was hoping some helpful Notion Admin would come to the rescue with something like "we're working on complete presets for Notion and we'd like you to beta test them".

Should I not hold my breath for that?

No, don't hold your breath :)

The technique in the other thread of creating alternate instruments with the DS patches is certainly viable.

Another possibility is to create hidden staves in which you manually input the keyswitches.

I think for now I'm going to experiment with Sibelius. They have complete presets and you can buy a competitive upgrade from Notion for $150.

VSL Dimension strings is not on the docket for Presets at this time.

There are some interesting developments happening for all VST's that I am not able to give details about right now.
