I have a score that I'm entering into Notion to become an accompaniment.
As the song progresses, there is a measure in 6/8 time, where four eighth notes are spread out over that 6/8 time, with brackets of 2 over 3.
This works.
But in another point, one of the the eighth notes is split into its own triplet...so if you can imagine this, the measure looks like this:
6/8 [eighth note [sixteenth sixteenth sixteenth] [eighth eighth]
3
2 2
I inserted the actual measure to the post.
Is there a way to nestle brackets, or a way I can re-write this so that it sounds right?
Thanks.
Chris

Re: Nestled brackets?
Thank you so much. I attempted to do so by making the measures into two 2/4 measures, each beat equaling the tempo of one dotted quarter in the original measure. I think that works, too (with a triplet on one of the beats), but your method keeps this in the original time signature and all. Thank you.
