Updates for Protege?

Now that Notion 3 is out, what's the update plan for Protégé?

In many ways, it seems that Notion3 has obsoleted Protégé and Progression. For example, all the specialized instruments available in Progression appear to be in Notion. And none of the instrument upgrades (such as solo strings) appear to be available for Protégé.

In this thread Kyle answers the question about the future of Progression by stating that there will be an upgrade path to Notion.

JNPMusic noted in this thread that Progression was incompatible with Snow Leopard three months ago, and despite Kyle saying that it was "high priority issue and we will fix it asap" to a critical bug, the thread doesn't indicate any action being taken to resolve the issue. Kyle again ends his email by suggesting "You could always upgrade to NOTION3".

Looking at the threads, I see there are only 18 in the Progression forum, and only 4 in the Protégé section, including this one. The first, posted back om September, was never even replied to.

In contrast, Notion has over 200 topics posted.

So what's the upgrade plan (if any) for Protégé? :|

Well, it's been a week and there's been no response here from Notion Music. It appears that requests for help in the Progression forum are similarly disregarded.

I'm not sure what to make of this, since it seems that questions about Notion also seem to fall through the cracks.

This just reinforces the impression that Notion Music is understaffed for supporting three different products, and that Protégé and Progression are essentially orphan products.

Lubo answered in the Metronome thread, so "they" are definitively monitoring the Notion board.
As for the other apps... I don't know :)
