Special markings for guitar

Hi,
I am trying to create a guitar fingerpicking piece in the Notion demo
where the thumb plays "palm muted" and the fingers "let ring" but I can't get it right. I did entry two independent voices but everything sound muted or rings out. Can anyone help me out?

Unfortunately, I do not play guitar so I really cannot help you. I suppose its the same with most other people.
Have you tried asking the tech support? They may be able to help you.
