I am trying to activate PROTEGE; I know it's no longer supported. But I've gone through all sorts of hoops, and eventually I see a window for a license number -- whose format does not match the format for the license that I have printed on a sheet in front of me.

Can anyone help? I've had to download and install iLok software, and the Protege software, but it appears i can only run the software as a 30-day trial. This is for a Macintosh.

You should contact tech support for this.

Protege has been discontinued for over two years and is no longer supported. Due to the licensing that was used with the program it can not be activated. If you purchased the program recently through ebay or amazon please contact the seller for a refund.
