You're just hearing the first harmonic.

So... what do you want the forum to do about it?

Try changing the whole note B4 to a G4, or drop the whole note B4 entirely. It sounds like an Oboe playing a B4 to me, but with three woodwinds (Flute, Oboe, and Clarinet) all playing a sustained note, it is a bit much on the harmonics, hence in the second version of the Surfwhammy remix, I deleted the Flute and Oboe whole notes, since together with the Clarinet they were too loud . . .

[NOTE: If you are using a special treble staff that is not absolute or whatever, then it might not be a B4, so adjust the name accordingly, but here in the sound isolation studio there is only one treble staff, and it is a soprano treble staff where the note is a B4, since there is no E♭ and B♭ stuff allowed. Everybody uses the same staff, which is a soprano treble staff. If the woodwind and horn players want to play in a weird key, then I spray them with whipped cream and throw oranges at them until they get on the program . . . ]

Since you are using dynamics, you might change the Oboe dynamic at that point to "ppp", but another possibility is to make it a quarter note, since with a tiny bit of reverb, even a quarter note will sustain or linger a while with so few instruments . . .

Another strategy is to use a different Oboe . . .

THOUGHTS

I think this is an arranging, producing, mixing, and perhaps composing activity, where you need to determine how to tailor the particular note(s) so that it sounds like you desire, which is fabulous . . .

Fabulous! :)

P. S. If your studio monitor system is not calibrated and verified to be full-range (20-Hz to 20,000-Hz) with a flat equal loudness curve at 85 dB SPL, then you are not hearing anything accurately, hence in some respects are spinning wheels, and if you are doing DISCO and Pop songs, then you need to extend the range downward to 10-Hz to get the deep subsonic bass that the so-called "Youth of Today" enjoy as a key aspect of their ongoing mating rituals . . .

"It's our party we can do wha' we want" . . .

"We Can't Stop" (Miley Cyrus)

Explained another way, your studio could have a "hot spot" around F#4 that makes this particular pitch appear to be louder in your studio than it actually is in the sampled sound for the Oboe note, really . . .

And other sounds around the B, do not produce an exaggerated harmonic.

You could always set a EQ on the Oboe. Use it subtractively to remove or reduce the offending frequencies.
