Hi, Serge.
Try assigning each to a different source.
I can't be more specific because I don't own other libraries than N3-demo bundled sound (now expired)

In the meantime, let me clarify that you must create *phisically* a new instrument for each voice you want to score to.
Then hide all the redundant staves (e.g. Horn II, III an d so on) but one.
This gives you fully independent instruments on the mixer.
And the way to pick them from different libraries at once.

If it doesn't work, let me know. I'll go into my three hours of listening to Stockhausen ;)

ok, I'm missing my Finale layers, but I found a work around that may not be too elegant, but will be all right for now...
First I score the notes on the two seperate staves that connect to the 2 vsti giving the correct playback.
Then I create a staff that goes nowhere in audio terms... (like to external midi ch. 1 while there's no external midi attached) and I call it 'guitar'
then I copy all the notes from the two staves into that one new staff, adding the instruction to switch instruments (for the player) as plain text. This gives me the staff that will be printed for the musician.
then I hide the two staves containing the notes that go through the vsti.
Thanks to all for the ideas and responses.
Best.
Serge

and now I found the real solution...
it was suggested in one of the first posts but since I'm on windows I had to find the shortcut :
instrument change : shift-i (not ctrl-i)
This works super.
Best regards.

Hi Serge.

Yes, it's shift-i.

On Mac too.

It was my fault to say it was ctrl instead.

Sorry for having you spent your time in vain.
