Hello,

When I add EWQLSO (symphonic orchestra) no problem, in notion I see it.
But If I want to add EWQLSC (Choirs) how can I do this ? because for EWQLSO I add Play in VST manager but
for EWQLSC it's the same VST ... ? so how could I ?

Yes, same VST (Play), but you click on the browse button in Play, and load a Choir instrument. It's not loaded by Notion the way EWQLSO presets are.

The way is to make a preset for Choirs and save it.

But I don't understand , because in play I can to have the 4 BTAS choirs each on a midi channel. If I check play for create a partition , notion open a play instance. But I want my 4 instruments in a single instance of play (4 midi distincts channels), is it possible ?

No, with EWQLSC each voice has to be in it's own instance of Play, as the WordBuilder uses all the MIDI channels of the instance.

This is wrong. You can do the desired result by doing instrument changes using the Play Staff as your instrument and changing the MIDI channel.

To do this:

1. Add a Play Staff.
2. Add 4 Basic Staffs
3. Go to the score window (Exit Score Setup)
4. Select the Play Staff (Place the cursor)
5. Press Shift + I
6. Change the MIDI Channel to 1
7. Place the Instrument Change on the First Basic Staff
8. Double-Click and name it "Soprano". Soprano is now Channel 1 in Notion
9. In Play, (Choirs) Go to the "Player" interface.
10. Change the MIDI Channel Input to Channel 1.
11. Soprano is now Channel 1 in Play.
12. Add your other Vocal Instruments in Play and follow the same directions for 2-4.
13. Save a Template.

It's not about the mechanics of setting up multi channel VSTi. In EWQLSC, each of the SATB voices requires a whole MIDI Port for WordBuilder to operate. This is true regardless of the host application.

Thus, each voice needs it's own instance of Play.

In my example I parametered B channel midi 1 , T channel 2, etc ... and use of worldbuilder just for 'Haaa' sentence.
