Unfortunately Sibelius cannot export to MusicXML :(
There is a hugely expensive plugin at http://recordare.com/ for 200$ which adds export functionality to Sibelius.
In my opinion this is the biggest missing feature in Sibelius. If only Notion could read .sib-files...

Ok, I'm trying the demo..
I will wait to buy Notion3, until it not read Sibelius files , and until it have the presets for the Kontakt libraries of Ewql, and until it have a better entry notes ..!

( I hope it will be soon, because I like this program, and I would it be better ! )

Is there any hope for Notion to at some point become sibelius-literate? It would not necessarily need to export as sibelius due to XML but it would help to be able to directly import it.

Sibelius import would just be so freaking great. In my opinion, Notion and Sibelius could work very well together, but only with good import options!

Yes ! It should be great ! work with Sibelius an Notion together. Because of the bad entry notes, inputting a score in Notion is a very slow thing : about 3 time slower than Sibelius !

You can just open a Music XML file with Sibelius as if it were a native Sibelius file.
I don't know about windows, but on my Mac, double-clicking XML files opens them in Sibelius.

Because of his bad entry notes system, to work only with Notion3 is frustrating and impossible , but for Sibelius export of XML files we need to buy the Dolet Sibelius, from Recordare, $199, not cheaper.
Furthemore I have problems with other features of Notion (exporting audio), not just the entry notes...

My first impression is that Notion3 is a baby.. it need to get a man ! meanwhile it's possible that a next version of Sibelius come with a decente mixer and audio support, and Notion lose his market... (!)
