cannot hear metronome's click and mooore issues

I have exactly the same problem. Very frustrating! Would be very nice to find a solution to this problem!
By the way, I'm using Mac.

This is Brian from NOTION Music. I came across your post and wanted to offer you some assistance. The metronome sound file is now a wav file that is bundled inside of the app on a Mac. The easiest solution here would be to manually update to the latest version of NOTION3. Please go to "http://notionmusic.com/support/downloads.html" and download and install the latest version of NOTION for your operating system. Since you are on a Mac, you will want to drag your old NOTION3 app from the Applications folder to the trash and replace it with the updated NOTION3 app that is in the update. Please let me know if you have any problems updating. Once you have updated, simply click on the record button, make sure that "while recording" is checked off and press "Start Recording."

Hi Brian. Thank you very much for your interest. Question: Do I have to manually update to the latest version (like you described)? Isn't it enough just to ask the program to search for updates? If so, this is not the solution. cause by doing that I only receive a message about the program being fully op to date...

I would recommend manually updating the program. It is possible that you received a corrupt download at some point in time and the program is not function correctly because of this. If you completely delete the NOTION app and replace it with the new download, we can eliminate a lot of smaller issues. Let me know if this works for you.

To Jazzeck: When you are recording MIDI, are you able to here audio from your computer or are you just going by the audio of your MIDI controller? Is it possible that you are not hearing the click because there is no sound coming from your computer? I apologize if this seems a little obtuse but I had to ask.
