Notion 4 and Windows 8: Touchscreen

I'm currently running Notion 4 on Windows 7 64 bit. It's a desktop environment, and it works just fine. However, I'd like to be able to run the full version of Notion on a laptop, so I'm considering a touchscreen laptop running Windows 8. I'm wondering if anyone is doing this, and whether or not Notion takes advantage of the touchscreen capability for such things as inputting and manipulating notation. In other words, can I use my fingers to create and change notation, or do I have to use mouse and/or keyboard? Any additional insights would be appreciated, as well.
