In Finale, I'm able to enter notes using the "a" thru "g" keys on my computer. and i can hit "+" to make it a sharp, and
"-" to make it a flat. Is it possible to do this in Notion? I cannot seem to make it do that. I hate using the mouse to place notes on the staff, and I do not have a midi keyboard to play into the computer. If anyone knows how to do it with the computer keyboard, please let me know.
thanks!

Re: Enter notes with the A thru G keys on your computer?
how does Finale exactly know which A - G note on the staff is required? im not sure if this can be done in Notion, hopefully someone else will know (I would just use midi keyboard entry if you don't want to click the location in the bar)
There are shortcuts for Half note (H), quarter note (Q), eighth note(E) etc. (tap them twice to get the equivalent rest)
and for accidentals:
flat (2) double flat (22)
sharp (3) double flat (33)
natural(4)
hope that helps
