solo violin not in tune with piano

the violin sounds slightly flat, I think. Anyone knows of a free plugin effect that I can use to correct the violin tuning? :(

guess not.....which sucks. Have similar tuning problems with the violin in EWQL as well, so it's not a problem only found in the N3 sample library.

You could try GSnap, which is free. (You might get more responses if you post in the Notion forum, instead of the announcements forum...)

You can control the tuning for EWQL in Play.

You can also tune Notion as a whole. The default tuning in Notion is A=442hz. They way to reset the tuning in Notion is:

Go to:

1. Preferences>General
2. Use the Global Tuning Slider to reset to A=440.

This is why EWQL will sound out of tune with Notion. I think EWQL is set to 440hz. Although this does not fix the problem in the Notion Violin, it will fix the problem with your VSTi's.
