Lyrics : how to delete a whole verse ?

Hello,
I wrote a song score with four verses, now I want to keep only the first one.
Is it possible to delete a whole verse otherwise than syllabe after syllabe?

The only shortcut available for this kind of thing is to hold down the Shift key as you highlight, one by one, the syllables you want to erase. Once you have them all highlighted, press the backspace (delete) key.

Depending on your particular score, it may be less tedious to erase all the lyrics (4 verses) and then re-enter verse 1. To do this, select all vocal staves and right-click (ctrl-click on Mac) in the highlighted area. From the pop-up menu, select Edit > Clear Special..., and check the Lyrics item from the list.
