Where to place translation?

Postby mrarnesen » Fri Aug 31, 2012 9:30 pm

I wanna place the lyrics with translation at the end of the last page. Isn't it possible to place text which is not attached to notes?

You can enter a text box anywhere in your score that is above or below a staff. Just the text tool located on the first pane in the palette. If you are writing in paragraph form, you can use a text box for each line.

If you want your text to be tied to a page instead of a measure, you can enter the text as, for instance, a copyright notice. Unfortunately, this works only if your score is either 1 or 2 pages long, because of the limited options for the display of such text. Use "First page only" if that will do, or use "All except first page" of a 2-page score. As with Brian's suggestion above, you enter each line of text as a new copyright notice.

Maybe the limited options will be improved in the future... (Hint, hint, Notion!)

Best wishes,
