and will there be more expansion sounds to complement the new version?

Notion 4.....
Re: Notion 4.....

To some people it makes quite a difference, as it effects other things they might be considering. For instance, a particular library might be on sale right now. Will N4 support it? Rather important to know. Etc.

Re: Notion 4.....
If it's a Quantum Leap library that is on sale that you are considering, they go on sale every few months. Vienna, not so often, but there are no sales going on with Vienna as of now. They've already said it will work with the Special Editions 1 thru 4, so again, doesn't really affect anything. I have both the Symphonic Orchestra Platinum Plus from EWQL, and the Vienna Special Edition Vol. 1. For what it is worth, the mapping of the Vienna is done with more ease, such as when you write a timpani roll, it plays. Whereas, with EWQL, you have to put it on the right "note" on the staff. Glissandos on strings actually play with Vienna. Granted, I like the sound of EWQL much better, but with the ease that Vienna works along with Notion, I can't complain too much. Vienna is still a great library. I'll just be happy to get a 64 bit version of Notion finally, as Vienna doesn't work too well with JBridge on the Mac....too many quirks. Then, I'll be able to finally load a full orchestra of Vienna, and even EWQL, without having to use a bridge program.

Yes, there's a lot more to Vienna than SE, but again - Vienna isn't having a sale right now, which makes your post about products that might be on sale a moot point.

While we've done some work on the existing rules and libraries supported there will not be any new libraries added with this release.
