My first experiment with NTempo

Greetings all,

I finally decided to give the NTempo tool a try today - it was an intriguing process. To preserve my sanity, I only tried it with a short piano piece, Roger-Ducasse's 1st Prelude for Piano:

I combined my experimentations and also used the Garritan Authorized Steinway as a VST plugin for this demo - my first try with something other than the Notion sounds.

I can tell that Notion will eventually revolutionize my ability to produce an expressive performance - I was impressed with the ability to go back and tweak the tempo changes note by note.... the mind simply boggles at the possibilities!

Enjoy,

- Jonathan

Greetings, All...

I decided to tweak my first N-Tempo performance of the Roger-Ducasse prelude

Roger-Ducasse Prelude 1

and also did 3 more
Roger-Ducasse Prelude 2
Roger-Ducasse Prelude 3
Roger-Ducasse Prelude 4

This is a lot of fun - once we can more easily edit things like CC (manual entry on a step-entered non-live file)
and call MIDI patch changes as well as a few other things, this software will rival anything I can think of for
control and expressiveness combined with ease of use. Bravo!

Hi Giwro.

A *Bravo* for you too!
Yours is not only a good performance but also a very good spot at showing how powerful Notion is and could be (I agree with all of your statements).
Hope this will empower mr Astinov and everyone at Notionmusic to turn our wish lists in reality! :D
Greetings
