do notions talk to each other?

I got an iPad for father's day, and since the price is right, I'm about to download Notion for iPad to go along with my desktop version. Generally, can the two versions synch with each other in any way? Could I make a sketch of something on the iPad and send it so it could be used in the desktop version? When I download it, will I be asked if I already have Notion, or do the versions just exist separately from each other?
