Garritan instant orchestra
Does Notion work with Garritan instant orchestra ? The sounds seem very much better than in personal orchestra...

Re: Garritan instant orchestra
NOTION3 only has the presets to work with Garritan Personal Orchestra. You can use any 32 bit VSTi with NOTION3, you will just have to create your own keyswitches.

Re: Garritan instant orchestra
I have Instant Orchestra... whether or not it sounds better than GPO is entirely subjective. Furthermore, it's end use isn't really the same as GPO. Instant Orchestra includes orchestral effects that are not available in GPO, there are sounds and parameters in GPO that are not possible with Instant Orchestra, and finally, there are certain combinations that can be achieved in both libraries.
I'm working on extending my custom GPO rules to include techniques from some of the percussion (notably the timpani) and the section strings techniques, but that's about as far as I'm willing to go in terms of applying Notion rules to Instant Orchestra. I should note that I am including a few techniques found in Instant Orchestra as an extension to GPO and not as a replacement.
