kvapka,

Sometimes the trill sample is not invoked when it should be, but it doesn't always seem to be a consistent, repeatable problem.

The other day, I was working on a clarinet part, and the whole-tone trill wouldn't play. As a stopgap solution, I entered a half-tone trill, and it worked. But today, when I returned to the same spot in that file, I was able to change the trill to whole-tone, and it plays back as intended. Maybe you'll have the same luck...

I created a test file (attached), in which the 3 clarinets I have available (Clarinet, Jazz Clarinet and Bass Clarinet) trill their way from the lowest to the highest sample, and I can find only one problem:

The whole-tone trill on the written low F is not triggered. This is true for all three Clarinet samples. I am submitting it to Brian as a bug through the normal channels.

Best,
Thorrild

I meant the sounding low F, of course...

No matter how much I correct my posts here, the fact remains that there is nothing wrong with that trill note: I had entered a "sharpened" trill on an F, which is not what I intended. The sample works just fine.

Thanks to Brian Meisner for pointing out my mistake.

Best,
Thorrild

Do you have any articulations on the notes in question? If you put an accent on a note that is trilled, it will play the accent sample, NOT a trill with an accent. Most of the other samples react this way I have found.
