Mixed tuplets

How can you make a "quarter + eitgth" tuplet in voice 2 ? (voice 1 containing just a quarter, for example)

I find it easiest to simply first put all the notes that I will want to tupletify (including mixed combinations of quarters/eights/sixteenth/32nd) but don't specify that you are going to make it a tuplet at first, just put all the notes down "plain" first (it will initially show as longer total duration, but then see the next step...)
THEN highlight all that belongs in my desired tuplet and right click to "custom tuplet". You can include mixed note values and rests too, just make sure it all adds up to the "correct" total of what should be the base of the tuplet group, and the "custom tuplet" widget will automatically show up with the correct number of "x into y" ratio every time. (If you make a mistake in combining complex subdivs, you'll also see amusingly unusual ratios show up as per your mistakes, grin.)
hope this makes your 3s 5s 7s etc more convenient. I find the use of tuplets a great way to get the effect of "rubato" style playing without mucking the tempo up and down, and it's more precise notation anyway.
