Update....

I think the issue of update is not resolved with N3. It would be easier if:

a) Menu> Help> Check for update.
The software informs us immediately so soft are updated.
otherwise:
b) It has a button to update.
c) The update is done directly from the server to N3.

That's it.

Another software that I have done exactly that.

Here are my problems:
1. N3 Menu> Help> About ==> N3 freezes when i open this window!
2. N3 Menu> Help> Check for updates ==> N3 announces a new version.
3. This updater manages the update. ==> Why?
4. This upadter asks for confirmation.
5. This upadter asks for confirmation.
6. But this upater generates an error message that I do not understand.
7.Mais then there is a reboot request to confirm the installation as if all had gone.
MYSTERY! I started the porocédure 5 times ... and finally I got the version 3.2.9960.0. Before I stayed glued to version 3.2.9927.0. Yet I have done anything special by repeating my tests!

I'm running W7 with a modern computer.

When I click on Menu> Help> Check for updates, I get a message that tells me there's an update available (see picture).
That's what I mean ...

The most current version is 3.2.9960, released last August.

The error message in your second screenshot can be resolved (if I remember correctly) by ending the Nalpeiron service before you update:

Press ctrl+shift+esc to open the Task Manager
Select the Processes tab
Find nlssrv32.exe in the list, and click End Process
Then try to update


Edit: Oh, I guess you already saw my post here, so I assume it doesn't work :(

At the first attempt with this address, http://www.notionmusic.com/support/downloads.html I saw several error message, and behind these messages, I saw the version to install: incomprehensible!
At the second attempt, everything worked fine.

Are you on Mac or PC please?
