Bass Patch in EWQLSO loads Cellos
Seems to be a mistake with the double basses preset in the EWQLSO patches. Not sure how to correct this. Can anyone help?

solo1,
Thanks, yes this is something we've missed and we'll correct with the next update.
However, it's is relatively easy to correct it yourself in the mean-time if you rather not wait till the new update. Here's what you can do:
1. Locate the EWQL PluginData folder. On PC its the NOTION3\Support\PluginData\EWQL. On Mac, open the NOTION package in the Applications folder and its in Contents/Resources/PluginData/EWQL
2. Find the 05_basses.notion file and open it.
3. Once the document loads, open up the PLAY interface by hitting Ctrl+I or CMD+I and look at the PLAY assignments
4. For each channel, substitute each of the cellos patch with a Double Bass patch.
5. Save the file and close it. That's it.
Hope that helps,
Lubo Astinov

Brian,
hold on before actually doing that fix yourself, I need to verify it will work for you.

Re: Bass Patch in EWQLSO loads Cellos
Yes, Lubo, it works. But I'm just two patches in and am having to make educated guesses on substituting since there is no CBS leg-forte, or CBS Qlegato -- the first two Cello patches.

(update)
Eh, I gave up. There's no CBS Qleg sord, Trills ht, Trill wt, either. I think I've hit one replacment on the first six or seven.
Since I'm not sure what your programming will be doing I'll wait for the patch.

solo1,
For patches that do no have the same samples in the other instrument- there is really nothing else that could be done other than just substituting it with a "similar" or just a sustenuto sample.
Hope this helps, the fix for the basses will come with the next update.
