Some instruments in GPO4 (nonvib flute, clarinet, bassoon and probably saxes on JABB) use Aftertouch to control vibrato intensity, and cc17 for vibrato speed, in real time.
I've read that Aftertouch could be remapped to CC#131 but that's not standard, for controls are from 0 to 127.
So far, I've not been able to apply them via custom rules because of that. And also haven't been able to send the message on the score because Notion lacks this simple feature (send a midi command, for instance embedded on a hidden text, or with a specific tool).
But I've been able to use an application called "Virtual Midi Controller" on the PC to record Aftertouch in a Sequencer Staff. Maybe there's something like this on the mac.
The app is a virtual interface that can send all notes and controls, including aftertouch, and these controls can be recorded as if it were a real midi device.
Further observation shows that this Aftertouch data isn't recorded as a 'CC<controller number> but as 'CP<value>' on the sequencer staff, which I deduce means 'Channel Pressure = value". As with Pitch Bend (PB), it seems these aren't accesible from the Custom Rules. I hope they will be in the near future.
