Much of my music involes lots of tempo changes expressed with Ritards, fermati and ",". I find that N3 often simply ignores these and plays right through them often. I do not use any external libraries as I have adequate results using the LSO bundled sounds which come standard neither do I use any third party Vst's. It's sporadic. Sometimes they play back, sometimes they do not. I have experimented with placing them both above and below the measure, deleting and replacing the markings with a new one and variations on both. But still same thing. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
tim
ps,
the rendered audio also tends to reflect this. My computer is rather beefy (6 core processor and other parts to match) so I'm fairly sure it's not that.

Re: Tempo changes not playing back
Hi Tim.
I never noticed this. Tempo changes seems to be one of the less buggy things of N3.
However, do you do lots of add/write/delete of bars or note content?
Often it causes N3 to stop for a while or to behave in many silly ways.
Try deleting bar lines at faulty position and re-enter again. Usually it fixes most of it.
Hope it helps.
Regards.

Hi Tim,
This is Brian from NOTION Music Tech Support. We are not aware of any issues with tempo changes or ritardandos in NOTION3. I agree that this is something that NOTION3 usually handles very well. Please feel free to send me an example of the problem. Just send the score to support@notionmusic.com and I would be happy to take a look at it.

YES! I have also noticed this. As you described it happens usually in areas I have edited over and over. I found that just deleting all the bar lines in immediate vicinity and then reinserting them fixes this however.
Brian, I will send some examples asap. Thanks again.
