Q. custom rules

Hi, i have my custom rules and i have patches for staccato, but i want to use for eg. semistaccato symbol and i want to shorten default (vibrato) patch by it. So, is there any rule that tells notion to shorten note duration?

Just to say that those symbols works fine when i use instruments by creating a new score, not by custom rules i made.
