activation , how many installations

hi i received my notion 3 Tuesday and installed it on my laptop ,
after install and running program it goes thru the activation wizard, everything went good said activated, i open the program
and it says new update available so i update and it installs, program opens and once again it goes thru the activation wizard
i fill everything out as i did first time, program opens everything is fine,

now today i see we are allowed 2 installs, so i install on my desktop,
but when activation wizard opens and i complete all information and it tells me the code is already in use,
so i'm thinking did i activate it twice on my laptop ,
i also see in my account for Your software activation i have 2 codes listed that are same,
if i did activate 2 codes for same laptop, how do i un authorize one of the codes ?

i have tried using the license manager 6 , but it seems i can only have one at a time active , not two at a time,

hmm, it's too much restrictive...

problem solved , i called Tech Support and i now have 2 active installs
1 on my laptop
1 on my desktop

1 on my desktop, i bought ewql but my destkop setup isnt enoguh (win xp & 3 gb ram), so im going to buy a new pc.
can i deinstall notion 3 on my desktop and install it on the new system?
or do i have to purchase another notion 3 version? (?)

Yes, you can de-activate. Go to Help/Software Activation.

Tech support also help me out about reactivating a software license, but now I have a problem with the strings add on, I can't installed them anymore, open a ticket, but never get a replied... does anybody knows how these works? Is it restricted to two installation as well... how do you manage them?

I would like to install Notion 3 on my new laptop. I have installed Notion 3 only once so far, on my desktop.

Also want to install Miroslav and maybe GPO on the laptop. Both are on the desktop.

Do I need to get in touch with customer service to do this, as was done earlier in the thread, or is there just something I have to be sure to do as I install onto the laptop?

Notion allows two installations.
GPO allows up to four.

After several hours of clicking and waiting and digging up old emails, I was able to authorize Amplitude X-Gear, CSR Hall, installed and authorized GPO 4, and the Aria engine, and finally installed and authorized Miroslav Philharmonic...whew!

Notion 3 still won't recognize some Miroslav choirs and some percussion instruments...not sure where I had the Bodhran from previously. But anyway, it's nearly all working on my new laptop, which I'm very happy with.

(In case anyone's in the market: HP Pavilion dv6 with 6GB RAM, the new AMD A8 chip, c. 550 GB HD, Win 7 from Best Buy for under $700. I was going to get a Samsung, which Consumer Reports recommended, but the salesman suggested this one, and so far, it's turning out very well. Has a better video card, is $300 cheaper than the comparable model, etc.).
