NOTION Music Forum

I'm contemplating buying notion3 with a sonar upgrade - I see that I can import musicXML files but I'm assuming I'll need another program to do the music scanning. Can anyone confirm that this is indeed the case, and if so, what are you guys using to best accomplish this? I see several online for less than 100 buck but they seem very limited with respect to number of staves or voices/staff. Anyone using Photoscore happily - or something cheaper?
