NOTION Music Forum

I started this process in another forum "N3 does not seem to do the right nuances." However it is getting away from the original topic, hence the new topic.

I am using Notion SLE with Philharmonik and for whatever reason some of the playback of the double bass cuts in and out or doesn't make a sound at all. Pizz or some tied notes.

Admin suggested I reload the sounds.

I have tried to reload the sounds. The pathway is different for SLE than Notion 3 and have yet not been able to reload the instrument sounds.

I am using a MAC running OSX 10.6.5 Snow leopard

The pathway thus far is Macintosh HD\Library\Application Support\ IK media philharmonik...
instruments ? now it asks me to pick from these.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are your notes within the instrument's range?

I am glad I save all revisions.

In my botched copy, the meters say there is sound going to the mixer, but not that I can hear. Maybe it has do with dynamics I edited or note values i have edited.

I hope this is just a brain fart on my part. Maybe I am editing incorrectly.

As I said earlier....when using SLE you need to select the path for locating your samples in the Miroslav interface......NOT the NOTIONSLE interface.

Pull up the VST interface, select "pref" (bottom right side of the interface), locate your "instruments" folder and select.

This should do the trick.

That was the kind of brain fart I was talking about.
