I just discovered Notion 3 is compatible with EWQLSO Platinum.
Is the software compatible with Gold, too? As far as I know, the only difference between Gold and Platinum is the bit depht, 24 in Platinum and 16 in Gold.
If no, are there plans to make Gold work with Notion?

Dude, it is not the bit depth but the tons of new articulations platinum has more than Gold.

The Play versions of Platinum and Gold have the same number of articulations - the only difference is bit depth and mic positions.
It didn't used to be that way, in the NI versions there was a Gold XP that added the missing articulations, but the Play-powered version has them all.

Hope it works with the Kontakt version okay. I refuse to upgrade to the PLAY editions.

At the moment we do not have presets for Gold...the included presets are for Platinum. We do have plans to support it in the future though...

Thank you for your answer! Supporting Gold would be great. It is a lot of work to do this? As far as I know the preset names between Platinum and Gold are identical - just the folder is called differently. Gold would be awesome, so please, please support it
Any chance for seeing this in a maintenance release? Or would it be a paid add-on?

Kyle: Are the library templates something the users can make themselves? (i.e., like the XML VSTExpression templates in Cubase and the XML library templates in Overture 4)?

Reason I ask is, the end user could probably help out on this side as well. I'd be happy to adapt a Gold version on a rainy evening.

I believe you can make custom sets if you'd like...they would be xml. I'll talk to the developers and post a good description of the process to create & implement the sets.
