Articulation access, hotkeys??

I think I post about it sometimes ago, but I was wondering if anybody is using a better way to handle this.... so basically when using only midi staff and since we can't no more add custom articulation to midi staff you do not have access to the articulation, so my wokraround so far were to either create a dummy vsti staff that I customized to show the articulation I need for my rules or creates a dummy staff on which I put all articulations there so I can easily do copy pasting.... is this pretty much the options we have? Can we assign hotkeys to any articulations selection?
