VSTi do not load up anymore

Postby labou » Tue Oct 19, 2010 2:55 pm

Hi,

Suddenly, VSTi stoped working in Notion, so I can't use it anymore. When I'm attempting to load VSL Ensemble Pro I get a ! mark on the mixer and the error message there says something like that the samples are missing, however there is no sample associate with Ensemble Pro.

I also tried Kontakt I got the same problem...

Anybody else experienced this? Any fix?

I'm really starting to wonder if that was a really good idea to start using Notion...

Thanks.

Did you update your software today to build 280?

Also,

Could you make sure the plugins are enabled in your VST manager?

Thanks

Well, it's kind of strange, I installed the new version and then tried it again it was still not working, figured that I should reboot as the installer suggested and then after the reboot all is back to normal... didn't change anything to the vst manager.

Anyway, all that force me to think about an alternative and I think I won't use vsti inside of Notion anymore and will only use it as a midi payback rewired inside of Cubase, so Notion to VEP Pro, VEP Pro to Cubase... I didn't think it will work, but it does so it removes one point of failure from the chain :)
