Please can any one help!
I need to transpose some trombone bass clef music to treble clef. I have input all the original music, then changed the clef to treble, then transposed it up an octave and a major 2nd. What is happening is that the key signature changes but puts accidentals next to relevant note - for example in G major all individual f's have a sharp next to them. How can I carryout my need but maintain the key signature??
Fingers crossed!

Re: Transposition
Hi Kate,
I'm not really up to speed on transposing but why not transpose to where the notes should appear on the stave without changing the clef first. Once they are where you want them go to the side bar and select treble clef (also works with the shortcut C). You are then given the option of leaving the notation as it is. As I say I don't know if this will work.
