N3 and KORE player

Postby wglmb » Wed Aug 18, 2010 10:17 am

I use the free KORE player from Native Instruments. It works fine in Sibelius, but it's a bit choppy in Notion - notes keep getting missed out during playback, giving me odd silences.
It happens when I export as audio too.
Any ideas? It could be KORE's fault of course, but since it works in Sibelius, I'm doubtful...

Are the notes that are being dropped repeated notes?

No, they can be any notes. Different ones get dropped with every playback. I've tried adjusting note lengths (pressing tab and then dragging the bars) to make sure there's definitely no overlap, but I still get notes dropping.

(yep, it was your recent topic that prompted my to bump this problem ;) )

Just a note - NI recently discontinued the Kore. So if it's an issue with Kore, there won't be a fix coming. :(

Hi - The same thing happens with Ivory Pianos. Periodically, notes are skipped. (Not sounding.) It's random but rarely can you go more than a few bars without missing notes. As a simple test, I entered an ascending and descending major scale and everytime, during playback, one or more notes do not sound. Never the same note.

It's frustating as Ivory is my favorite piano. Does not not happen with EW Piano Gold though.
