Hello everyone,
This is my first post here. And my English is not excellent.
I think the palette Accidentals should be at the same location as the pallet Note / Rest entry. Could then immediately place the desired alterations.
I love NOTION3!

You may file a feature request (at the top of the board index for the forum) for this if you'd like. I assure you we DO look at all feature requests...

You might also want to familiarize yourself with the keyboard shortcuts. It's much quicker to hit a couple of keys than to look through the palette menus.

It is still necessary to select the note before processing. I would like an entry in the palette and can treat it exactly as is done by adding one point to a note

I'm not sure that I'm following you. Are you trying to add an accidental to a note that's already on the staff? That can be done more easily through keyboard shortcuts as well as adding notes with accidentals.

I suggest adding the alteration in this palette. (See picture)
1. Click on the desired note.
2. Then click on the desired alteration.

OK, that's what I thought. Almost every alteration can be made through a keyboard shortcut, so I would still familiarize yourself with the shortcuts if you want/need faster note entry.

The current shortcout for alterations is not very practical.
Select the note.
Shift.
Up or down arrow.
This is not very fast.
