It has been asked before. Is there any possibility to include accordion samples in an upcoming upgrade? It would be highly interesting since that instrument now belongs to the "classical" orchestral instruments and there is a real need for modern composition for the accordion. Maybe Notion could contribute to that purpose... :D

I've never seen sheet music for an accordian before (so please enlighten me); are there any special or unique notation symbols used for accordians?

There are no particular signs for the accordion (unless you would use chord symbols), but a regular accordion looks more or less like a piano part. Sometimes the chords in the left hand are replaced by symbols and rests, but as the instrument has turned into a plain classical instrument, the parts look pretty much like normal piano parts. There are however some special symbols for the registers... :D

Yes, there are specific signs for accordion music, and they deal with registration. The signs are circles with a variety of smaller circles (or large dots), either black or white within. But this is a moot point as we don't yet have an accordion sample from Notion...

Are there any third party VSTs that have a decent sounding accordion?
