how to enter anacrusis

I searched the term in the manual and to my surprise no results came up, which is a bit puzzling as it is a basic notation term. If anyone can tell me how to enter an anacrusis I would greatly appreciate

Turn the involved measure into a "Pickup measure" (select measure, then right-click or ctrl-click on it and choose from pull down menu).

It's nice to see requests in the Notion' basics area: it means that users are increasing.
Hope it will encourage the developers in their effort in solve the weaknesses and meke the software to work even better!
