play.dll and additional instrument sounds

I bought notion 3 earlier this year and installed it yesterday on a laptop running Win7-Ultimate. The installed package contains in programme/notion3/support/plugins several instruments as VSL or EWQL. Clicking on one of that - ending .notion - Notion3 starts but ask for ´play´to be installed somewhere in VSTPlugins. I found VSTPlugins directly in programme/ , but can't find a file called 'play'. Where is it ? Or isn't part of can I do the installation. The notion version is 3.1.281.0.
What can I do to use these addional instrument sounds ?

You would have choosen a folder to install Play into when you installed EWQL. In Notion, goto File/VST Manager and browse to that folder. Make sure Play_VST shows up in the list and is enabled.

Hm, does that mean this 'play'-plugin isn't part of the notion-distribution and has to be purchased somewhere else ? Are these additional instruments sounds then useless ?

Notion comes with SUPORT for EWQL and VSL, but those are are sample libraries that you'd have to purchase. Only the Notion Instruments are included in the package.
