xml Export - Import

Postby Francois2010 » Wed Nov 17, 2010 6:27 pm

Hi,

I'm testing the import / export between applications.

If ever it may ... How to guard against an import / export XML without surprises? I make attempts. Of imports xml appear with pauses that did not exist in the original file, empty bars that did not exist in the original file, ranges are shifted. In fact, it is unusable.

I made sure that all export files to be as clean as it can be done prior to my tests.

Thank you,

François

Which application are you exporting from/to? I export to Sibelius all the time and the files (which are sometimes very complex pieces) are far from unusable.

Hello tubatimberinger,

I have two files exported from Harmony Assistant to N3. I first exported a string quintet and it was pretty well with N3 Import. I then tried to export a brass quintet also from Harmony Assistant and it has functioned very poorly. In the latter case, I paid attention to my original file is as clean as possible.
Thank you !
