Hi,
I have a little trouble writing some rudiment exercises for drums in a clean layout.
What I want is the notes with stems up, the hand setting (like R L R L) under the note and some accents on top.
At the moment the accents get in the way of the text ("R L R L") under the note and push the letters down.
How can I get the accent on top like I know it from all my drum teaching books?
Btw the same thing with tuplets ... I would like to get the tuplet on top of the notes.
Thank you for helping already!

Re: Accents on Top - Stem up
It seems that it is not possible at this time. I will submit a ticket for this issue. Many types of attachments like slurs and even your text boxes can be moved up, but it appears that articulations cannot. Articulations should be added to the list of items that can be moved to above or below the staff.
The way that you would normally execute this is to select the items that you want to move and then right-click. The right-click menu appears and you navigate to Attachments>Show Above Staff. Show above staff does not appear for articulations at the moment, so that is where we get stuck.

Re: Accents on Top - Stem up
Thank you for your super quick reply!
Although it doesn´t solve the piticular problem, I feel really good about buying Notion4 when you know there is support out there that hears you!
I found a little workaround to my problem by chance though.
When I used the drumset instrument instead of sigle line snare drum it appeared exactly as I wanted.
But in case of the tuplets it is wierdly happening sometimes above the stems sometimes under.
Here are all screenshots to discribe better. Top left tuplet number under the notes, on the bottom above.
I hope the articulation and the tuplet number are somehow connected and can be fixed together.
Thank you!

Hi there,Grooveaddict!
Sorry to use your post for this question, but i was wondering if you could please share your thoughts on your personnal experience regarding using Notion specifically for drumset notation.
I'm looking for a good ipad app with playback functionality and many simultaneous voices, and so far purchase a few apps without being satisfied with none!
Could you please share your personal experience with Notion regarding drum specific notation?
Thanks!!
