Tempo marking font?

Can someone from Notion tell me which font is being used for the tempo marking? I just realised that one can have the tempo hidden by bracketing it and including a text indication (such as "andante") to display instead. I prefer this on my scores but thought it would be aesthetically pleasing to match the font with my other text markings (such as "doloroso").

I tried by running through a selection of fonts I thought likely but was unable to find it. Those tried included the fonts in the Notion "Support" folder from the installation (the TTk ones).

Hi GaryExo,

It sounds like you are trying to enter a tempo as a plain text block. Instead, press shift-hyphen (the cursor will change to a "quarter=90" mark and click in the bar where you want the tempo. The mark will show up with an editing box around it. You can now type whatever you want: "Doloroso [q=68.35]" will be shown at just "Doloroso" and play back at quarter equals 68.35 beats per minute.

Unlike regular text blocks, you cannot change the font of a tempo.

No, that's exactly what I did. I used the tempo marking tool and wrote my direction, making sure the numbers were bracketed so they don't display but what I'm trying to find out is just what font Notion is using for this "descriptor" text.

Someone at Notion has now told me on Facebook that it may well be a custom font of the company but will confirm that sometime within the next week.

Here's a workaround:

Enter the tempo marking that governs the playback, then hide it from view. (Right-click on it and select Attachments>Hide.) Then enter your preferred wording as a regular text box in the same place, and set the font to something that pleases you.

Caveat: When you print parts from a score like this, the regular text blocks will show up only on the staff where you entered it. You'll need to add them manually to the other staves.
