yeh, that's good...
Just keep in mind how quickly these guys work! I woud anticipate turnaround time on such specific beta feature feedback to be like maybe only a couple days tops. So whatever coolness we enjoy would be very shortlived anyway, kind of like the thrill of playing in some big surf.

Re: Best sound library for String Quartet?
hmm... the very best solo strings, as in you make no mention of cost concerns so assuming you are prepared to pay serious $$$$? You would be wise to wait until middle of January, so you can at least check out EWQL's much ballyhooed new "Hollywood Strings" just to be sure and hear if that m...

Re: Realtime Midi Input
just itching with curiosity... wondering what is the sort of nature of the underlying problem that has been found and is being fixed? Is it like a matter of obscure interface timing conditions that inconsistently affect the incoming midi data? or is it more of a UI design challenge, inventing new co...

Re: Custom Key Signatures
on the technical side, I would venture to guess that the guys at NM could likely tweek some configuration data to (re?)enable such a thing. On the musical side, I am intrigued by what sorts of alternative scales/keys you might be wanting to apply in this way. (I love to work in octatonic myself, but...

Re: Library Presets...
fairly soon we have been promised a tutorial on how to write creation of all sorts of our own special plugin rules config files for Notion. That being said, there is some implicit good news for folks who are "not a programmer" or otherwise not inclined to the diy approach. Myself I am just...

Re: String Harmonics
I recently asked similar questions about certain unusual string articulations that EWQL provides, which Notion had temorarily handled via 'x[##] as "custom instructions" rules. I got a quick email reply from the good folks at Notion explaining that they are in process of integrating those ...

Re: Notion 3 Learning Curve
...too many options? Which method of notation entry you trying to use?
suggestion: just pick one method that appeals to you and do tiny experiments with each feature of that method one at a time first.
