Some of the bass trombone notes play back at the wrong pitches (though only at certain dynamics).
I've attached a Notion file demonstrating the problem, and an mp3 of what I hear.

thanks my friend. there wasn't any change even after setting to 8 . I have to print my music out for a course examination.... having 32 bars with individual rests for a particular instrument ,looks very unprofessional. I use a mix of Notion, GPO4, and the free version of Kontakt Player, which comes with some nice sounds. Mostly, I only use Notion's sounds for orchestral instruments, but sometimes I want one with a different character, so I use GPO. But there's certainly nothing wrong with Notion's sounds - far fro...

Notion calls them multi-measure rests. I've never used them myself, but there's a tiny bit of info on page 3.11 of the pdf manual, which might help you.

^ Notion will produce files that match up exactly. I have to go through this procedure with every song I write, when I move over to my mixing programme. It's very tedious, but it works.

I should add, composerwithnotion3, that when you used the word "pause", I took it to mean "fermata" (since that's what it usually means in England).

Set up one bar how you want it, select it (double-click on it), and then press ctrl+D to duplicate it!
