Re: cannot hear metronome's click and mooore issues

To Jazzeck: Go ahead and delete both of those plists from your Preferences folder and open NOTION. They will be recreated once you open the program. Let me know if this brings your metronome back.

Re: 64 bit, and possible workarounds?

That is a very good question. We do not currently support using EWQL via VE Pro. VE Pro would be an excellent way to use VSL SE in a 64 bit environment though.

Re: cannot hear metronome's click and mooore issues

If you guys are having a problem with the first click of the metronome, just click somewhere in your score one time. This seems to only happen when you first open the program and don't play anything prior to using the MIDI entry. The program must engage your sound card. Here is what you can do: 1. O...

Re: cannot hear metronome's click and mooore issues

To Jazzeck: If you would like to see where the metronome click is, ctrl click on the NOTION3 app in the Applications folder and go to "Show Package Contents." Once you are in the package contents, go to Contents/Resources/Metronome and make sure that both Woodblock wav files are present. D...

Re: cannot hear metronome's click and mooore issues

To Jazzeck: I just thought of one other thing that you might want to try. Please delete the plist for the program so that it will recreate a new one. To do this, simply go to Macintosh HD\Your user profile (icon of a house)\Library\Preferences and find the file named com.notionmusic.Notion.plist. Dr...

Re: cannot hear metronome's click and mooore issues

To Jazzeck: When you are recording MIDI, are you able to here audio from your computer or are you just going by the audio of your MIDI controller? Is it possible that you are not hearing the click because there is no sound coming from your computer? I apologize if this seems a little obtuse but I ha...

Re: cannot hear metronome's click and mooore issues

I would recommend manually updating the program. It is possible that you received a corrupt download at some point in time and the program is not function correctly because of this. If you completely delete the NOTION app and replace it with the new download, we can eliminate a lot of smaller issues...

Re: 64 bit, and possible workarounds?

ReWire is still limited to 32 bit systems. I think JBridge or VE Pro are your best options.

Re: cannot hear metronome's click and mooore issues

Hi Jazzeck, This is Brian from NOTION Music. I came across your post and wanted to offer you some assistance. The metronome sound file is now a wav file that is bundled inside of the app on a Mac. The easiest solution here would be to manually update to the latest version of NOTION3. Please go to &q...
