Re: Organ Grand Staff (with Pedals)

I'm not too familiar with organ notation myself, but I think you are on point with creating the grand staff and a separate staff for the pedal notation. Using Bill's Shift+I technique will allow you to route the pedal clef to the grandstaff so that you only need to load one instrument (which will sa...

Re: dotted notes in tuplet?

Warning - Smart ass alert. My prior response was taken word for word from the manual (literally copied and pasted). I'm not trying to be a jerk, but sometimes reading the manual is the best way to go. After talking with Brian at Notion (Thanks for your help) the procedure seems to be: 1. Draw the do...

Re: dotted notes in tuplet?

Thanks for the kind words DaddyO. If you get the wrong numbers then you can try the custom tuplet option (option 4) which allows you to set the ratio. 1. Highlight or click-select the adjacent notes you want to become a tuplet. 2. To open a Tupletdialog box, either: –Right-click and select Tuplets> ...

Re: dotted notes in tuplet?

With all due respect pcartwright, RTFM is not help. It easy to miss an implied point in cryptic instructions. And did you get that its not making tuplets which is the issue but making tuplets which contain dotted notes? Is the example I gave in the second post on this thread not the very thing the ...

Re: dotted notes in tuplet?

You can do this. Read the page 8.9 and 8.10 of the manual.

Re: How to add a controller?

Do you not have a midi controller that can send CC data? A lot of controllers allow the user to assign a CC number to the knob or slider being used. You would simply assign the controller to CC 7 and record.

Re: Text to mark movements in a score

I know it is not an ideal option, but you could put them in as rehearsal marks. You could then right click on the first measure of the movement and force it to the next page. Not ideal, but it would allow you to quickly move from one movement to another from the rehearsal drop down list. Or, again n...

I'm not sure what you are wanting to do. Can you post an example?

Re: Multiple Files / Set List

FYI, page 11.19 has the answer to my question. This is pretty slick. Very useful for film scoring as well as stage productions.
