Re: sequencer

OK, just discovered the section on tweaking dynamics in the user guide. Don't know why I didn't see this when I searched before.

sequencer

From what I can gather -- please tell me if I'm missing something -- you can create a sequencer staff and convert it to a notation staff, but you can't write on a notation staff, convert to a sequencer staff to tweak the dynamics of individual notes, and convert back to a notation staff. Additionall...

Re: dynamic markings

Aha! You are right about the hairpins, and that solves my major problem.
But on my first point, I wish you would check again. I can go to attachments and change the location over/under the staff. But only if I place the dynamic above the staff does the note actually sound at that volume.

tempo markings; undo/redo

I was surprised to learn that in Notion3, tempo markings have to be written in manually. I suppose you can be more precise with a metronome setting but it was very convenient to have the tempo markings.
Also surprised to see you can no longer do undo/redo with a single mouse click.

Install question

While I'm waiting for Notion3 to arrive, I have a question I couldn't find an answer for in the user's guide. Do you uninstall your current version, or install Notion3 over it?
With 10 gigs of samples, space becomes an issue on my aging machine.
